Welcome to the living we can. If you believe, you can achieve.
SPEAKER_01Welcome to the Living the Dream with Curveball Podcast, a show where I interview guests that teach, motivate, and inspire. Today's guest is Caleb Matthews, founder of the C Link and one of the most versatile speakers in the spiritual strategy space. Caleb has spent 20 years helping people decode their dreams, personal frustrations, and his work has taken him from New Age festivals to Bible college classrooms, from remote African villages to meetings with government officials, and he has reached millions through international radio broadcasts with his voice. So we're going to be talking to Caleb about his proprietary SSB method and everything that he's up to and gonna be up to. So Caleb, welcome to the show.
SPEAKER_02Thank you, Curtis, for having me on. Really, really delighted to be here and looking forward to our conversation.
SPEAKER_01Well, why don't you start off by telling everybody a little bit about yourself?
SPEAKER_02Absolutely. Caleb Matthews with the C Link. I am a purpose design architect, helping people discover their unique blueprint and to answer that age-old question that's been asked uh since the dawn of time, which is why am I here and what is my purpose? And the DNA of design is a really big part of that, and it's brought me to where I am today through many seasons and many different uh states of being. So I'm very happy to be here with you today, doing what I love, which is part of my joy and passion, which is uh the art and the niche of communication.
SPEAKER_01We are definitely delighted to have you, and I want to know. You know, you've you've interpreted thousands of dreams over the past 20 years. So talk about what's the wildest dream that has turned out to be dead accurate that you've interpreted.
SPEAKER_02I would say the ones that are the wildest are the usually the ones that on the outward appearance look like they are just a leftover bit of pizza or a nightmare or something that just doesn't have any meaning whatsoever to them. Uh, I'll give an example, one of the wildest ones, if not the wildest ones that I interpreted that ended up being dead accurate was a few years ago here locally in my city. Um I was at a festival, a fair, and my team and I were there setting up what we usually do or dream interpretations and spiritual readings, and a gentleman came in with his wife, and he shared this really, really short dream that he had during the night season. And the dream was this: he was hanging upside down by his legs, almost like a bungee cord type of device. And he was upside down in front of a huge group of people, strangers, family, friends, and he was just completely naked, didn't have any clothes on, and he felt a sense of calm and peace, even though by all natural means he should feel embarrassed or anxious or just get me out of here. But he felt a real peace. And he was wondering what could that possibly mean? And keep in mind, mean that the team and I interpreting for him had no knowledge prior to what he'd been going through in that season. So we said to him this, we said, This is what we feel like your dream is telling you. That though your life has been turned upside down the past few years and you feel vulnerable and exposed, that God, the Spirit of God, that there is a development going on in your life, we feel strong in the dream is telling you that there is a shoving off of an old mantle and a putting on of a new one and a new season, and that there is peace for you, even though you feel things are upside down, and that others are observing this. And that's what we saw. And he just broke down crying and sobbing. What does this mean to you? And he said, Well, what you don't know is that in the last few years, um, my my parents, my father passed away, and I've been dealing with the tragedy of his death, and just really feeling like my life is upside down, others are seeing it, I don't know what to do, and I just need this confirmation, this clarity, and this was it. Just to let go and just like hang upside down, just let it all go and really be at peace. And and that was to me, Curtis, one of the wildest dreams that I've ever interpreted or teams ever interpreted because uh it ended up being dead accurate of what he was going on with going over the loss and trauma of his father.
SPEAKER_01Wow. Well, how did how did you uh know that you had the power to interpret dreams and and how did you come to actually interpret dreams?
SPEAKER_02That's uh that's a deep Pandora's box, which I'm happy to open up. And that is uh when I was going back into my childhood at the age of six years old, I myself started having vivid dreams and experiences in the night season as a young boy. And so much so they were happening almost every night. So I would go to my mother's room and father's room and say, hey, what's going on here? And thankfully, my mother, uh, being a seer design type herself as well, we'll get into that later, the seven design types, but she she was able to give me some clarity and some instruction of this is the way that God is speaking through dreams. And I was raised at the young age in a homeschooling home. I was homeschooled, thanks, mom. And part of what we learned in the curriculum was learning the Hebraic method of dream interpretation, of how God speaks through dreams, how the spirit, our subconscious, our minds are instructing us while we sleep. You know, through the Bible, through history, through different examples in ancient and modern history of people who actually had dreams. Uh, was able to, these texts and these scriptures and also these accounts are able to confirm that this is actually a very real thing. In fact, scientifically, we spend a third of our lives sleeping. So, my connection to God, Curtis, um, you know, I believe in a creator, I believe in God, I believe that each one of us has been put on this planet for a purpose and that God is the one who gives the power to interpret dreams. Because we see this in the book of Daniel, where the king Nebuchadnezzar says to Daniel, like uh, who is the one that reveals mysteries? And Daniel says the God of heaven is the one that reveals mysteries. So there is that connection. That's why we go back into the SSB method, spirit, soul, and body, because everything we're speaking about here, including night season experiences, has to do with our connection between our spirit and our soul, our subconscious mind. But we need to awaken that part of our spirit to be able to remember and see our dreams.
SPEAKER_01Okay, well, you've spoken to everyone from new age attendees to Bible college students. So tell us what's the common thread?
SPEAKER_02The common thread is that all of us have a three-part being. We have a spirit that lives in a soul that has a body. And I'll explain that. The common thread is that we all have a spirit, which is our God-given, innate, breathe spirit that's been created at the moment of conception, that connection to the spirit, to God, to creator, to the spirit, spirituality to light. So we have a spirit, which is our wisdom, our conscience, and our revelation. And we have our soul, which is our mind, our will, and our emotions. That's where our free will comes into play. And then we have our physical human construct, our body. And what I've found, Curtis, is throughout my travels over the years, encouraging encountering and encouraging different people, different cultures across the nations, across the New Age festivals, leadership festivals, Bible colleges, these places, everyone has this common thread. We all have a spirit that has a soul that has a body. And unfortunately, most of our Western culture believes that we are only two parts, uh body and soul, in my experience. In my experience, Curtis, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on this as well. Our Western culture is very much like Aladdin, uh, you know, with the genie and the lamp. We we treat the spirit, that component, as if we're rubbing the genie and wanting to make a wish. And, you know, we we pull on God and we pull on the creator, we pull on the spirit of God when it's convenient for us. But but in the eastern culture, spirit, soul, and body is is is baked into the entire being. It was more of a raised awareness. That's what I found over the years of traveling to the Middle East to speak with people in Israel and Palestine and in eastern places in the Philippines and in Africa. There's more of a of a cultivate awareness that we are three-part beings, not just two-part beings.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I would I I would definitely agree with that uh that that philosophy.
unknownSure.
SPEAKER_01So um I know that you know you you disagree with the fact that some people believe that purpose is something that you find. So uh why why do you disagree with that?
SPEAKER_02Because of something very, very sensual, a key component that all of us were all of us were born with, and all of us are remembering at some point of our lives, and that is let's go back into a little bit of a metaphoric, allegorical, visual adventure and story into the early years of entrepreneurship, our childhood, and that is being in the sandbox. All of us have the time of play and discovery. So as a child, Curtis, if you can imagine yourself in the sandbox, I imagine myself in the sandbox, our audience, the men and women listening to this right now, imagining yourself back in that childhood state of being five, six, seven years old, four years old, three years old, and being that child in the sandbox and discovering. What did we go to the sandbox for? Well, we went to the sandbox to explore, discover, and learn what was there and what we could play with. The shovel, the trowel, the sand itself, uh, all the toys that were there. We didn't go to try to find something. We went there to discover the parameters of that sandbox. And because of that, we're able to find, but discovery comes before finding. I'm not saying that finding something, you're not going to discover something in life about your purpose, but discovering is the foundation. We must continue to cultivate that discovery because when we build with discovery, then we're able to walk in and be aware of what was already there in the first place. So it's not this lightning falls out of the sky and poof, there, there, I found it. There's my calling, there's my purpose, there's my design. No, it's a it's a process by discovery. And that is birthed into us in those early childhood years. Now, people listening to this right now may think, okay, Caleb, well, my childhood wasn't all rosy and peachy or happy memories. All I can remember is traumatic memories. Well, what I would say is interpret what comes against you. Your obstacle is your arsenal. There's gonna be gold in that muck. So whatever came against you defines you. What do I mean by that? Well, if you had nothing but psychological abuse or verbal abuse in your family growing up, somebody did. I would say to that person that the potential that that person has is actually an exhor, a catalyst, one of the seven design types, that because of the opposition, that defines you. Only what comes against you can define you. That's that uh refiner's fire, that sword through the fire. So all that to say is it comes to Curtis, discovery. I don't believe our design is something we find. It's something that we are able to unwrap when we discover, when we embrace that childlike state of discovery.
SPEAKER_01Well, sticking on the purpose topic. You say that people's daily frustration are close to their purpose. Can you break that down for the listeners?
SPEAKER_02It's always being open to seeing those links of what's happening around us. Um, so often we can dismiss these moments where something is happening right in front of us, and we think it's just random noise. So we talked about dreams earlier. Every one of us, a third of our lives is spent dreaming. And so in the night season, there's one of the keys is dreams, where we can wake up in the morning and say, oh, that dream of that golden horse that was that rode up to me and started talking to me in my dream was just it's it's probably just leftovers or from a random cartoon that I that I saw on TV a couple of years ago. That's that that's just you know, you explain away. But there's actually meaning behind that. And especially we don't we don't write them down or pay attention to these nudges like our dreams. We train our subconscious that these divine nudges, that these these links, these seeing links that can be seen are not important. Therefore, we then we don't get them in as much anymore and we miss them. We we miss those encounters at the the bus stop or at the grocery store or those random encounters on the transit where there is something that's happening in front of you. There is a there's a message behind that. It's it's very much like the Matrix. Uh, a lot of people, a lot of us in our culture, we we go about being the hamster on the wheel and we ignore the deeper code that's being communicated to us. So here's an activation for the audience right now. If you are feeling like I'm missing the boat on seeing the links, oh, there's stuff happening around me, I don't know what it means. Here's an exercise. Step back and ask yourself this question. What is this scenario a picture of? And then stop and and really observe, like a lookout scout in the army, like one that's looking through a telescope at uh the Milky Way or the stars. Step back and take that navigator's design type perspective, even if you're not a navigator by your design type, and say, I'm going to study what is happening in my day-to-day. I'm not going to dismiss it as random noise. I'm going to intently look at my night dreams and see what's happening. I'm going to intently look at back into my childhood and say, what was that? What were those early years of discovery and joy? And what were those indicators to being clues from what could help me in my adult life? When we start to do those things and we start to observe and participate actively, as opposed to just being a hamster on the wheel of life, we'll be able to see those links more clearly and be able to walk in our design fully.
SPEAKER_01Well, what's the most dramatic transformation you've experienced after someone discovered their design?
SPEAKER_02The switch where it goes from just being good at something to being bored for something. I can only speak right now in this moment for my own personal life. I worked nine to five, ten-year job. I was very, very good at telecommunication sales. I won the awards, I went on the trips to Vegas, went to the baseball games in Seattle, got the extra commission checks, won the trophies, but I was bored. I was bored working in the big corp world 40 hours a week, nine to five for somebody else's vision. And there came a day where I realized that my DNA of design, my specific design, I was not fully functioning in it. I was having bits and pieces and sprinkles of my design, but I was not fully walking in it. And the only way for me to be able to embrace fully what I've been put on this earth to do was to walk away from that. And a lot of people thought I was nuts to sell the house in one of the wealthiest cities in Canada, to walk away from a plum job that would set me for life and in a beautiful city. And I decided to become a digital nomad because I was not being celebrated in that environment. I had a plan, I had a proposal to the company that I built up over the year or two before I actually exit the company that was vetoed, that was uh passed by many executives, vice presidents of sales within the big tel one of the big telecom giants in Canada, as well as sales director of the region, general managers, different, different people that were above uh the pay grade of my boss that said the business proposal that I had was a no-brainer. Everybody except for my boss who I worked for could see it was a no-brainer. When I presented it to him, I'll never forget Curtis. He said to me in the phone, this was three years ago in the summer, while I was on a way over in the airport in Houston, Texas, he said, Caleb, online sales don't work. And then he paused. And then I realized in that moment that my design wasn't going to be celebrated here, that I was just another cog in the wheel. And then when he went further and said, it wouldn't be fair to the others if I accepted your proposal. So his value system was that everybody was equal in a socialist uh culture and a society, and that nobody else should be awarded, even though they had put the work in. And I knew that I had to be somebody that was running my own ship, running my own vision, because I was not being celebrated. And that uh that no being built by no is one of the pillars that has kept me going. And now I run two businesses remote from Mexico in Cabo, and I'm really happy doing what I'm doing because communication, this niche of communication, of podcasting, of public speaking, this is something I've been doing since I was 18, but really accelerating this now in these last couple of years with the C Link has been really important. And all of it boils down to audience, you must know your DNA of design. So here's my infomercial here, just to insert this here, and blab and honor here. And that is take the free DNA of design quiz. I've got a free quiz, takes less than five minutes, and discover which of the seven design types you are. Are you a seer, a catalyst, a navigator, a steward, a builder, a healer, an activator? Which of the seven are you? Take the quiz, find out, and when you do, you'll be able to be at the steering wheel of your design in a more intentional and powerful way.
SPEAKER_01Speaking of those seven designs, now that you mention them, which one surprises people the most?
SPEAKER_02I would say that's uh it's tough to compare all seven because they're all so unique. But I would say probably the one that surprises people the most is when they go through the quiz and they think in their soul, their mind, will, and emotions, their brain that this is the one I'm gonna get. And they second guess themselves and they question and they think of what should I do this answer or that answer? And then they eventually go with what their spirit tells them to choose, what their passion is, because there's a difference between your passion and what you're good at. And I think what surprises people is when they take the quiz answering based on their joy and their passion versus answering what they feel like society says should be the right answer. And usually when people take the quiz a few times, they'll get a different design type based on uh where they're actually pulling their inspiration from for their answers. So I would say the big surprise is when people see their design type when they're actually choosing by their spirit instead of their soul.
SPEAKER_01Well, what would you say to someone who is skeptical, skeptical about the spiritual side of purpose?
SPEAKER_02I would say we must look to our individual blueprint, our molecules of emotion. We have molecules that can be trained one way or another towards light or towards darkness. We can ignite our neurons within the pathways, the neural pathways of our brains. And there's that connection between our brains and our heart because there's that heart-brain connection. That uh actually the heart, scientifically speaking, has its own brain network. It has its own neurons, its pathway, and the brain has its own network, and there's this connection. So I would say to any skeptics out there that this isn't just woo, this isn't woo-woo. This is not woo-woo. This is a bridge between spirituality and practicality that's proven and backed by science. Just to just to throw a quick example of history, because I love history here, and that is Albert Einstein and his theory of relativity. He had a dream during the night season. Now, a lot of people don't know this, that he was slot, he was on a sled and uh he was going down a tobogganing sled, and he looked up at the sky in his dream during the night, night season while he was sleeping, and he saw the stars and the galaxies, and they're full of color and light, and then he woke up. And Albert Einstein took inspiration from those dreams that he had, and it helped him towards his theory of relativity. Like that that's part of it. Like that's a really big part of it. Like Paul McCartney, uh, when he had a dream, he heard the tune of yesterday before he applied it to an actual song after he woke up. So these things are real. Uh, they're they're not just figments of our imagination. Our spirit is instructing us, our spirit is speaking to us.
SPEAKER_01If there's someone listening right now that feels like they're playing the wrong game in life, what's one thing they need to understand?
SPEAKER_02That trying and playing and engaging on the world's playing field of the game, if we're doing that, we're already starting off on the wrong foot because we are we are playing into a construct that is not the ultimate governing authority. We are being led by our soul. We're trying to find solutions, we're trying to find answers, we're trying to look for knowledge, we're trying to beat our bodies into submission. But that's not the way it was meant to be. That we are created spirit, soul, and body. Our spirit is supposed to govern first our metron because the soul and the body left to its own devices, um, it's not the complete picture. But when we are led by our spirit first, when we step back and we say, okay, what is God speaking to me about this? What is my spirit instructing me? How can I navigate my compass, my inner engine, the vehicle of my full three-part being, my spirit, soul, and body, how can I actually operate in a day-by-day basis where I'm not just looking by what my eyes see or my ears hear? I'm not just looking by the outward appearance. Because if we play the game of the world, the game that says, oh, you gotta put on this armor, you gotta be like Tony Robbins, you gotta be like um Taylor Swift, you gotta be like Kim Kardashian, you gotta be like Tiger Woods, you gotta be like Um Wolf of Wall Street, you can go down the list, you gotta do it this way, you gotta do it that way. Well, we can learn from people, but if we put on the armor of somebody else's game, we're gonna lose every time because every single one of us has an innate DNA design, a blueprint, a God-breathed identity and purpose and design that nobody else has. Who Curtis Jackson is and who Caleb Matthews is are unique to us the same way that every man and woman, young and old from across the United States, across Canada, across Mexico, across the nations of the world, listening to this podcast right now is uniquely designed. Here's the truth cloning and AI and the world of all this copycat stuff, like you know, they can do cloning and AI can do a certain level, but down to the hundred percent degree, down to the cellular level, you and I, Curtis, and our audience cannot be copied down to 100% of our DNA, of our physical, spiritual, and emotional DNA. That's the truth. So when we know that there's only one of us in this life that's been created by God for a purpose in such a time as this, we can operate out of that spiritual dimension, that spirit-governed human construct. And when we do that, when we start off in that foot and we say, what is the spirit of God telling me versus what is the spirit of the world's game telling me? We're gonna be off on the right foot when we choose the right path.
SPEAKER_01Where you've reached millions through international radio, uh speaking through radio in Africa, and you've spoken in government meetings. So, how does one go from there to help an individual find purpose?
SPEAKER_02Because no matter what someone's background is, whether they're a government official in Kenya in East Africa, or a radio host in Tanzania with uh many provinces and millions of people listening, or whether they're a stay-at-home mom or a father or just a family person that is just doing simple life, a student in university or college, a child growing up in today's world playing in the park, no matter who you are. It all boils down to the equal playing field that all of us, every single one of us, have the same 24-7. We have the same measure of time, because if you woke up this morning, and anybody listening to this has woken up this morning at some point or another, we have another opportunity to express our God-given blueprint on the earth, to answer the question: why am I here and what is my design? Which one of them am I? How can I partner with God spirit? How can I partner with the blueprint over my life to be able to leave a deposit, leave a seed in the earth that will outlive me? Because that's a sobering thing. Curtis, right now, right now in our conversation, over the airwaves of Wi-Fi, over the internet, over the computer, even using the lights that we have in our homes, these technologies, even that much more and more, were created by men and women, inventors and innovators, and those who were pioneers in their time, because there was those who walked in their design. Thank you for the Alan Turings out there, the Alan Turings out there who were, you know, one of the founding fathers of this the computer. Thanks for uh, you know, uh Hattie Lamar is her name. That's her name, uh, who actually was the one person who invented Wi-Fi. Without Heidi Lamar, uh we wouldn't be speaking on this podcast on the airways. Without Alan Turing, we probably wouldn't be sitting in front of our computers and devices listening to this podcast. So their patents and their designs and their God-breathed formulas and their blueprints over their life expressed in their design on the earth are things that we are benefiting from. Therefore, our conversation today on this podcast, Curtis, your design, my design, our designs of the audience are things that everybody else in the world can benefit from. And only if we embrace the path that God has given us, and not veering to the right or to the left and trying to be somebody else, but doing our path. So whether whether you're a government official or you're a person that's on a radio show host that has access to millions, or whether you're somebody that's just going about day by day, simple white life, all of us are equal in this sense. We have another day, another opportunity to express our design.
SPEAKER_01Tell us about any kind of upcoming projects that you're working on that listeners need to know about.
SPEAKER_02Upcoming project for me here. This one's a big one. We've got the C Link Academy that's coming this fall, 2026, in the next uh in the next month or two here. And that is an online academy for a deeper hub of training for more YouTube content beyond my free YouTube channel, uh, group training, one-on-one coaching, and a community where we'll get more into walking out and act and going through activations and just through what does it look like to walk in my DNA of design? What does it look like to walk out my navigator design, my healer design, my catalyst design, my builder design, etc., etc. That is coming. And I do have spots that are already filling up fast for this paid community, but I do have an offer here, and that is the first 15 people that express their interest in the academy and they want to be part of this monthly paid community, this academy called C Link Academy, you're gonna get this. You're gonna get one free 60-minute one-on-one design discovery session. You're gonna get a locked-in lifetime membership, and you're gonna get early access to the academy and what's inside the academy, which is more than what's on my YouTube channel for the C Link, and more than just taking the DNA design quiz, DNA design quiz, which will be in the links in the show notes, of course. So if you want to be a part of the C Link Academy, you gotta email theclink at gmail.com and type in the word academy and say that you're interested to be added to the list. But of course, practical steps is number one, take the DNA design quiz. The link is in the show notes. Number two, subscribe to the YouTube channel where you've got free content, three to four videos a week that we launch out there. In fact, tonight I'm gonna be going again on uh more next person in my uh dreamers series for uh night dreamers and just accessing what the design type is on our dreams or speaking to the night season. And then number three, of course, send that email to the cLink at gmail.com, joining our newsletter, and getting on the C Link Academy uh wait list because it's coming soon.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and that link will absolutely be in the show notes, but go ahead and throw it out here.
SPEAKER_02Sure. So the link for everything I'm talking about here, um you're gonna be the DNA design quiz is gonna be at calebmatthews.net. And of course, when you log into the website, you're gonna have the button on the top right corner that is take the DNA of design quiz, and you'll be directed to the quiz. And when you take the quiz, you will be able to go through it and express uh at the end, there'll be an option there for you to be able to say, uh, hit the button that says uh expressed interest in being on the wait list for the community, and then that will create an email, which all you gotta do is hit send, and it'll send that directly to yours truly, and uh you'll be put on the wait list. But there's only 15 spots that are available for this uh limited time offer for getting in. And after that, of course, you can be on the wait list, but uh the limited time early offer would just be for the first 15. So that is that is the initial link here, just uh at least listening to it. But the details I'll have uh sent to Curtis.
SPEAKER_01We'll close us out with some final thoughts. Maybe if that was something I forgot to talk about that you would like to touch on any final thoughts you have for the listeners.
SPEAKER_02Final thoughts for the listeners is get back into the sandbox, get into discovery and uh speak to your spirit, speak to your human spirit and invite it to come forth to attention. Even just say this with me right now, audience, as you're listening to the spirit. I call you forward to attention, to take your place to govern my soul and my body and all my decision making as God intended it. And when we do that, when we start to look for the realm of discovery versus just looking to find a quick fix lightning strike into our childhood, into our dreams of the night season, into this and so much more, then we'll be able to learn about our design. So speak to your spirit, call it to attention, and really step up to the plate and be ready for those curveballs. And part of those curveballs that we gotta hit is really discovering why we're here and what we're on the earth for. And that all comes down to our designs. So take the quiz and start from there. But thank you so much, Curtis. I really appreciate it being with you and your listeners. And hopefully, our listeners are able to uh receive some new curveballs that they haven't seen before.
